Approved by the State Council and sponsored by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Govern-ment, the All China Federation of Industry & Commerce, and the Association for Corporate Growth, the second annual China International Private Equity Forum (“CIPEF”) will be held from June 10 to June 12, 2008 in Tianjin.
The 2008 CIPEF is expected to be another large capital-raising event after the successful 2007 forum. In attendance will be more than 500 domestic and international private equity funds and investment companies. The forum will be a great opportunity for private companies to seek capital. ACG’s internationally known Deal Source (“speed dating”) and Capital Con-nection will be used for this event. Deal Source utilizes a “speed dating” format to prearrange one-on-one meetings between target companies and potential investors while Capital Connec-tion allows attendees to meet as many potential investors as possible.
The Forum will sponsor several sub conference and panel discussions on China’s financial industry issues as well as other relevant financial topics. It will bring the most advanced and professional theories and experiences to the participants.
CIPEF is the latest effort by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government to develop new capital markets and represents the All China Federation of Industry & Commerce’s support of capital raising activities for privately owned enterprises. |
